WIREWAX: LiveElements
LiveElements Feature Review
As shoppable video progresses and advances, so too do its capabilities and adaptability. WIREWAX, a browser-based interactive video technology company, recently released their LiveElements feature-a self-proclaimed window into the future of shoppable and interactive video.
Let’s dive into exactly what LiveElements is, how it works, and how it can be used within shoppable video.
LiveElements is a feature in the WIREWAX Studio which allows you to automate the content in your overlays (micro-sites within your video). By entering a web APIs (RESTful API endpoints), or any APIs that return JSON data, LiveElements are able to return specific values within an overlay, thereby creating dynamic content.
Simply put, dynamic content within shoppable video is a game changer.
Without the need to update frequently changing information or content at a manual level, shoppable video can integrate seamlessly with your existing systems that manage your data, product and information. This also means that shoppable video can be more accessible on a larger scale.
LiveElements can be used to automatically update a range of verticals in your overlays. The most relevant verticals that we’ve identified are numerical data (for example: product pricing, quantity, and date), images, and text. If an item goes on sale, out of stock, or the product images are updated, the content in your overlay will automatically update to match the changes in the API.
